Membership is for twelve consecutive months and can start during any month of the year. For the convenience of the student or parent/guardian, the yearly membership fee can be paid in full or can be divided into 12 monthly instalments. Membership allows for unlimited weekly classes at your belt rank. We offer discounted pricing for family memberships.

Although there are no formal contracts, there exists a social contractual agreement between Sensei and the student. On becoming a member of the Meibukan Gojyu Karate Winnipeg Dojo, Sensei commits to being that Karate-ka’s (student’s) instructor until told he is no longer. The Karate-ka’s loyalty to Sensei is to attend classes on a regular basis and to support, by way of membership fees, the continuance of the Dojo.
